Human hair extensions are very useful. They not only make your hair look long and full but also help you to look good. It can also be used to cover cuts, injuries, burns or bad color. Since human hair extensions are very soft, natural and real,so you can treat the hair as your own hair. Applying human hair extension is the best way to give a volume to your hair but with this you also need to maintain your hair extension. Here I am suggesting some simple tips for taking care of human hair extension.
1.Washing and conditioning.
Wash your human hair extensions twice a week with less shampoo but more hair conditioners. Please select the kind of acid hair shampoo,it won’t damage your hair extensions badly. When you wash the hair extensions, please put the hair extension in the tub or sink and dampen it with lukewarm water. Apply shampoo to it gently and rub, wash away the lather and do the same with the conditioner. After washing hair apply conditioner in your hair extensions. And then let them air dry after washing and conditioning your hair.
Brush your hair every night and also after wash your hair(When hair is dry). Besides, please brush it with a wide-tooth comb and from the end to the top.
4. Keep them Braided
If wind, sleep, or other activities that are rough on your locks are in the forecast, opt for some braids. This will help keep your extensions from tangling and matting. You should braid your extensions every night before sleep, since you’ll be rubbing’ all up on that pillow. Also avoid speed boats and convertibles.
5. Minimize Heat Use
Another good tip to keep in mind when caring for both your extensions and your own head of hair is to minimize its contact with heat. Look for alternative ways to curl your hair… Maybe use flexi rolls, or go full-granny with curlers. Let your extensions dry naturally, rather than using a blow dryer. If you absolutely must use heat, at least be sure to spray on a heat protestant first.
