About the hair products using on our hair,since different person,different hair type and texture.Depending on your hair type this may or may not work for you! But if you have spirally, ringlet-y curls this is what I use:
Shampoo and conditioner, mousse, gel(s) and a microfiber hair turban. Let me explain further;
I usually only shampoo my hair twice a week! But even so I use specifically Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner. Depends where you’re from and if you can attain this, but its really effective for my hair and not overly expensive, with no silicons, sulphates, drying alcohols etc, no bad stuff at all. Then I condition most days, or at least every second day, letting my hair absorb all the moisture it can as curly hair is naturally very dry.
Then I use a Herbal Essences mousse called Tousle Me Softly. I’ve gone through many bottles of this as its completely hair friendly as well and really effective. I use about half a handful after I’ve washed or conditioned it so to define the curls and form them, then break the stiffness when my hair is completely dry and it’ll be really nice ringlets. Then, after this step I have two gels, the first one I cannot remember the brand but is just a spray gel, put in straight after the mousse into wet hair, then next I dip my fingers in the Shea Moisture Curling Souflee, as its quite thick and you don’t need a lot. Then pile it all into my turban and let it sit for about 20 minutes or so, then let the rest air dry and scrunch out the crunch of the mousse when its completely dry.
Many people use many different products, so things along these lines could work. Some people use oils, some don’t use mousses at all, some make their own flaxseed gel. It all depends on hair type and curl pattern and what works for you.
Hope this helps.
